• Further good news for Where Liberty Lies. It was a finalist in the science fiction category of the Independent Authors Network (IAN) Book of the Year Awards 2024. My congratulations to Mike Murphey, winner in this category with his book Quantum Consequence and all other winners.

• A belated verdict from the Indie Reader Discovery Awards for Where Liberty Lies. No prize but a very nice review.

• A new blog is now available called The Amnesic Age. As an author of dystopia, I’m allowed to see the world through pessimistic lenses and I certainly do in this short piece exploring how the industrial and technological age has brought about a dangerous dose of forgetfulness.

• The Book Viral Millennium Book Award results are out and Where Liberty Lies achieved a Long-listed Author placing i.e. top twenty.

• Where Liberty Lies has received an honourable mention in the Royal Dragonfly Book Awards (Sci-fi/Fantasy category).

• Congratulations to Janet in Arizona, winner of my Bargain Booksy readers list competition. • Where Liberty Lies launch recap - a fortnight has passed since its launch but here is the news so far: first editorial review in was from The International Review of Books, a five star, gold badge award. Next in was the Wishing Shelf Book review, another five star review. Then came a five star review from Literary Titan, which was followed up by their Gold Badge Book Award and an interview. And finally, to date, were the three Readers’ Favorite Reviews, all five stars. A few more editorial reviews are in train and will appear in the next month. Now, with creditability established, time to encourage readers.
